New Year's Eve 2014

In my entry below, I mentioned how this blog has become majorly-delayed.  Part of it was indolence, but then things got tough for me, part-way through this year.

Anyway: I also mentioned in that entry below that New Year's Eve is pertinent to the topic of this blog.  At 11:00pm my time (about 22 minutes from now), which is midnight in New York, the ball drops!

We saw the ball in Times Square, during our September 2013 visit.  It is now about to drop!

To see it happen, turn on your TV!

I'll post some recaps here, later on.  (Or at least I hope to... My track record hasn't been too good for this, during the past decade. ;-)

Delay, delay... What can I say?

This blog was intended to be a recap of my 2013 trip to the Big Apple... but that has not worked out.  I still hope to use it for that purpose.

For this New Year's Eve entry though, I'm going to cross-post an entry from my main blog.  It's somewhat off-topic, except for the fact that New York City is big on New Year's - I will post an entry above this one, with recaps of the New Year's Celebration.

It will be posted below - once I've written it!

Merry CHRISTmas!

In looking back, I see I was "still behind on things" in prior years, as well.

I am making progress this time though, and expect to have things underway soon.  2013 was already a year of major progress, in several vital areas!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

Yes, today. In response to some angst I expressed at my original blog, years ago (wow; It's now been 10 years?!)... the lovely Adrianne Truett informed me that Christmas actually lasts up through tonight!

So, Merry Christmas to you and yours!

(Due to the #snowpocalypse, we may need to extend Christmas for a few more days, as well!)
